Publishing rules

These rules form the agreement between the owner of a listing and the operator of the directory (see the Aviso legal). By submitting a listing for publication you accept them.

1. What the directory is

The directory is a curated intermediary platform: listings are created and filled in by the business owners themselves, and the editorial team reviews them before publication. Moderation does not make the content of a listing the content of the editorial team: the owner is responsible for the information in their listing.

2. The owner's warranties

By publishing a listing you confirm that the data is accurate; that you hold the rights to the photographs, logo and texts; that prices and claims about services match reality; and that you are entitled to represent the business named.

3. Moderation and refusal

The editorial team may refuse a listing or return it for correction, and may remove a published listing that breaks these rules. Every decision comes with a reason, which we send to the owner. We do not publish misleading promises ("guaranteed residence permit" — misleading advertising, arts. 5 and 7 of Ley 3/1991), services outside the law, or content infringing the rights of others. A listing sells a service or product to an end client: income opportunities, "join my team" invitations and investment schemes are not accepted (art. 23 of Ley 7/1996, art. 24 of Ley 3/1991).

4. Badges and ranking

Badges reflect facts: "Magazine resident" means current participation in the magazine's resident programme, and "Recommended by SunClub" an editorial verification. Order of listings: recommended first, then magazine residents, then by how complete and how recently updated the listing is. There is currently no paid way to change the order; if one appears, promoted listings will be marked "Advertising".

5. Language versions and translation

The directory is published in four languages: English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian. We translate your listing into all of them and publish it in every version, so that people searching in another language find you too. The translation is produced by the directory's editorial team, including automated tools with subsequent review; a translated listing says so and links to the version in the original language.

The original stays your text: we do not change meaning, prices, deadlines or contacts. Figures, prices and links are checked against the original automatically. In fields where a mistake is costly — medicine, legal and financial services, psychology — a translation is published only after a human has reviewed it.

You can correct the translated text or switch off any language version in your personal area at any time; we notify you by email about versions that have been switched on. Names of professions are translated by meaning and do not imply that you hold a title which in Spain requires membership of a professional association or a separate licence.

6. Complaints

Every listing has a "Report a problem" link. We review complaints, request documents from the owner where necessary, and reply to the person who complained. The owner may respond to a complaint and appeal the removal of their listing by writing to us (contacts in the Aviso legal).

7. Removal

The owner may ask at any time for their listing to be hidden or deleted — we do this within 7 days.
