Who I help and how

People in Valencia come to me when they need help choosing and fitting an air conditioner for a flat, house or office, cleaning a unit that hasn't been serviced in years, or working out why it's cooling worse than it used to. Tenants call a lot: in rented flats the air conditioner often goes years without a clean, and renters don't realise they can ask the landlord to have it done. Sometimes a unit's already been "fixed" by someone else before me — filled with a refrigerant that doesn't suit that system, for instance. A unit like that can usually be saved without replacing it.

How the work goes

First I help pick the right air conditioner for the space, the room and the budget — this is free. I don't recommend the cheapest models: they're more prone to factory defects, run noisier and use more electricity, so they end up costing more in the long run. Mid-range units usually pay back the difference by the second season. When fitting a unit, I vacuum the circuit and check it's sealed properly, then fill it only with the refrigerant that suits that system. I clean with a full strip-down and wash, including cassette units in commercial premises. I quote the price before starting work and don't push it up afterwards.

Why trust me

I've been fitting and servicing air conditioners in Valencia for over 15 years. In all that time I've never had a single warranty case involving a refrigerant leak. Installation comes with a 1-year guarantee. If a client insists on the cheapest equipment going, I'd rather turn the job down than end up fixing it later. I tell it straight and don't inflate my prices, which is why people recommend me to friends.
