Who we help and how

LELIYA is a place where mums don't go through motherhood alone. We bring together Ukrainian mums in Valencia who are looking for company, friends, support and enjoyable activities for themselves and their children. We organise brunches with experts, picnics with developmental games and coffee meet-ups. We talk about child development, emotions, parenting, relationships and the needs of mums themselves. We help you understand your child better and find simple ideas for everyday games without complicated preparation. You're welcome to come without knowing anyone, to meet people, spend time among your own and gradually find your circle.

How the work goes

You choose a meet-up from the announcements on our Instagram page and message us to book. We let you know the details, the cost, and confirm your booking. At brunches, we chat with an invited expert, ask questions and get to know each other. At picnics, we play together with the kids and try out ideas that are easy to repeat at home. For regular participation there's LELIYA Club — a private community with club events, brunch recordings, materials on child development and discounts. You can start with a single meet-up or join the club. Each event announcement states whether children are welcome.

Why trust us

LELIYA was founded by Natalia Kostenko, author of the Little Fingers UA blog about child development through play, and Anna Berestova, a speech therapist and founder of logoshum. We combine our own experience of motherhood with the practical knowledge of invited experts. We hold meet-ups with speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists and other specialists, so mums can ask their questions and get clear answers. What matters to us is respect for different experiences, judgement-free conversation, and advice that can be applied in everyday life. We're building a community where you can be yourself, talk about difficulties and find support.
