How the work goes
Getting acquainted and assessing your level: We start with a short introductory meeting where I learn about the student's experience (in chess and/or the language), their goals and preferred lesson format. An individual plan: I build a programme around your specific goal: tournament preparation, conversational English or Spanish, help with schoolwork. Regular lessons: Format and length are agreed individually — in person in Alicante or online. Usually 1–2 times a week, 60 minutes each. Tracking progress: In chess this means game analysis and rating growth; in languages — your level of proficiency and confidence in conversation. I adapt my methods to each student's goal and pace: some need structure and consistency, others want conversational practice without pressure. The same applies to chess lessons.
