Who we help and how

People come to me when they have been living in Spain for a few months but still have to switch on a translator at the doctor's, the bank or a job interview. When they understand individual words but get lost in real conversation. When they need to fill in a form on their own, write to their child's school or chat with the neighbours. We start from scratch or carry on from your level. We learn the Spanish you need here every day: everyday life, bureaucracy, work, conversational expressions, and we practise it in conversation straight away.

How the work goes

We start by getting to know each other: you can take a free level test at expertspain.es or come to your first group class for free. For the one-to-one format, the first 30-minute meeting is also free. We choose the format. Groups of up to 10 people meet twice a week for 80 minutes in a classroom in central Valencia. If you can't make it in person, you can join online and not fall behind. We also run one-to-one and pair lessons online at a time that suits you. We learn through real conversation: every topic is practised straight away in situations that come up in Spain every day. All you need is regularity and a willingness to talk. Making mistakes in class is allowed, and even encouraged.

I'm Ukrainian, I have lived in Valencia for 14 years and have been through the whole journey myself: from my first conversations with a dictionary to dealing with Spanish paperwork and offices. So I know exactly which Spanish you need here, not in a textbook. Besides the school, I help with customs clearance for cars, residence permits, exchanging driving licences and getting diplomas recognised, and I order certificates, extracts and apostilles from Ukraine. So every day I see where the language makes things hardest for people, and that is exactly what I teach. 6 years of teaching experience. Spanish level C1.
