Sleeping with a newborn: basket, incline and co-sleeping
In the first months it isn't the design that matters but two things: how quickly you can reach your baby at night, and whether they lie comfortably after a feed. Everything else can wait.
What matters early on
- Co-sleeper mode. The side panel comes off and the cot sits flush against your bed — the baby is beside you, in their own space;
- Adjustable height. The base rises level with your mattress and drops once the baby starts sitting up;
- 5° incline. A slight lift at the head end, the thing usually suggested for reflux;
- Wheels or rockers. Move the cot around the flat, or rock the baby without picking them up.
Safety
The furniture is designed to European child-safety requirements: no sharp edges, reliable wheel locks and hypoallergenic finishes.
Частые вопросы
Can the cot be joined to the parents' bed?
Yes — the side panel comes off and the base is set level with your mattress.
What is the 5° incline for?
A raised head end is commonly suggested for babies who bring up milk often. The incline adjusts and can be removed.
Wheels or rockers?
Wheels suit moving the cot between rooms; rockers suit soothing. Both are available.
From what age is it suitable?
From birth. After that the same cot grows with the child.
