A nursery in a small flat: what actually fits
A rented flat in Spain rarely comes with a separate nursery. More often it's a corner of the bedroom or part of the living room, and the question is what will fit there — and whether it all has to be replaced in a year.
What helps when space is tight
- Co-sleeper mode. The cot sits against your bed, so no floor space goes to a separate island;
- A chest instead of a changing table. One piece rather than two, and it stays on afterwards;
- A convertible cot. In two years there's no old cot to get rid of and no new bed to find room for;
- Wheels. The cot rolls aside when you need the floor.
