Who we help and how

People come to us when they want to enjoy a lovely evening, try some interesting dishes and drinks, or organise a birthday, a get-together, a tasting or an intimate event. At POTAL you can simply drop in, book a table or hire one of the two rooms for your own occasion. We’ll help you choose the right format, menu, drinks and arrangements to suit your number of guests and what you have in mind.

How the work goes

First, you tell us what you’re after: a casual visit, a get-together, a birthday, a corporate event, a tasting or room hire. We’ll then confirm the date, guest numbers, time and your food and drink preferences, and suggest an option that fits. You can choose the larger room for a group, or a more intimate space. For private events we agree the terms, menu, drinks and duration in advance, so that on the day all you need to do is turn up and enjoy yourself.

We don’t just hire out a venue — we’re here every day, working with our guests, the kitchen, the drinks and the events ourselves. We know how to set the space up so it’s comfortable for a small group and a full-scale event alike. We pay close attention to detail, talk the terms through in advance and try to tailor the format to each guest rather than selling everyone the same package.
